Yes, economically. In terms of factors that made Nazi rhetoric appealing to Germans, moral panic ranked pretty much dead last behind more pressing matters like the fact that Germany was still reeling from being disassembled, economically crippled, and vilified after WWI just for the great depression to hit a decade later. With all of the cataclysmic events sending Germany into economic and political disarray, you'd have to be a special kind of autist to think "Yeah but the REAL problem was those damn drag clubs in Berlin!"
