As much as I love mustard of all kinds, particularly a good grainy beer mustard, it's worth mentioning that mustard's spicy pungency and ability to irritate the lower half of the stomach lead to its use as a classical emetic. Some people are overly sensitive in that case, and don't have the stomach to appreciate how mustard compliments a wide variety of dishes.
