Have you ever lost your taste for liquor?

I used to really enjoy sipping a good liquor straight. Bourbon, rum, gin, brandy... Pretty much anything besides vodka.

Then last spring I was going through some personal problems and had a few nights where I drank way too much liquor and threw up all night. Ever since then I've had just about zero desire to drink any liquor straight. The only thing I really enjoy anymore is scotch and I can only drink a dram or two of that before I've had enough.

Anybody ever experienced anything similar? Have you gotten past it?
