White Castle burgers are so delicious because they are not fried, not broiled, not grilled, but STEAMED on a bed of white onions and water, burger bun and all, all steamed, all soaking with onion vapor, delicious moist and melts in your mouth

This was a bit of a shock to me the first time I realized it too, fast food burgers pretty much always come with like at least two sauces by default

When you're eating it though, it makes sense as to why they don't, because of how White Castle burgers are steam cooked on a bed of onions and water, the burgers themselves are already extremely moist and wet, they practically melt in your mouth

White Castle is only for people who love onions.
You can't get it "without onions", you can try like I did as a picky eater little kid, it will always have onions on it and taste like onions, because the birgers and bun rolls are literally cooked by being steamed in beds of onions, onions WILL be clinging to your burger somewhere and it will taste like onion vapor

Yes, it's because the burgers are not fried, they're cooked by steam only, the holes are so they can be cooked at fast food speed thoroughly inside and out. And when they're cooked, you can't even see the wholes, because obviously the meat changes by then

What the hell do you think, they take the time to cut out tiny pieces of beef to mash together into new patties? That would be like one new patty per every thousand cooked, waste of time

Truth is, making White Castle burgers at home is a chore

They are extremely thin patties with holes cut in them. Why are their holes you ask? Because the burgers are cooked by steam and steam alone, they are cooked on a wet bed of onions and are cooked by the onion steam thoroughly inside and out and by onion steam alone, AS are the buns as well

This leads to a very tasty and unique taste sensation that is soft, damp, mushy, and absolutley oozing with onion juice flavor
