Okay, there's too much to recommend, so I'll do my best to highlight my personal favorite spots in varying neighborhoods. You best save this post, anon:

Georgetown:
1) Miss Saigon - Really solid Vietnamese spot at the edge of Georgetown. The service is good. There's even a neat fish tank. A lot cute girls dine there.
2) Bangkok Joe's - This is one of your trendier Thai restaurants in the city. But don't let that deter you. The food is really great, and they make a mean pad thai dish. It's near the waterside, which makes for a nice walk after dining. A lot of young adults dine there.

Foggy Bottom:
1) Meiwah - At the intersection of M and New Hampshire, you will find arguably the best Chinese food in NW DC. The interior is large and embellished. A lot of higher class people dine there, due to its close proximity to K Street.

Dupont:
1) Zorbas - North of the circle, you will find this staple in DC dining. A Greek restaurant that has been around for decades. It's two floors tall and spacious. The crowd here varies, but are you sure to find many a local there.
2) Shake Shack - I was reluctant to include this. This is a regional fast food chain located in the busiest quarters of the neighborhood. This place is always slammed, and they sometimes get your order wrong. But the burgers are pretty solid.
3) Lauriol Plaza - Great Mexican place in the northern part of Dupont. It's actually a massive restaurant. But the food and service are exceptional. It's a trendy spot where a lot of young adults go to eat and drink.
