This isn't true at all the quality is extremely high and the prices are quite low, where I am from in australia you can get 1 kg of chicken for like 10 bucks whereas in woolworthes that same chicken would be 13-15 a kilogram. Even the rip off aldi chips are half the price of brand name chips and honestly just as good, they have these pringles that are called stackers or stax or someshit it's like a buck for a pack where pringles would be 4 or 5 and they taste just as good. My only problem with aldi si that they don't have as good a range of products as woolworthes or coles and you cannot find niche things like almond flour for example and even with certain products sometimes there is only 1 type at aldi for example there is only 1 brand of tortilla at aldi and I don't like the taste of it whereas in woolworthes and coles have like 4 or 5 types of tortilla.
