You can throw some vegetables and herbs in there. I didn't add any liquid to mine, but if I'd made it on a rack instead of in a pot I'd probably have put a tray with a little water underneath it both to catch the drippings and to get a nice moist environment in the oven.
I can't help you with temperatures or times. I never really pay attention to either since I'm around to keep an eye on the meat all the time anyway.
This could have been a little more pink in the middle, to be honest. I don't remember, but I suspect I gave it longer than it needed to crisp up the bacon.
The timestamp on the photos suggests I gave it a little over an hour. Probably around somewhere in between 140 and 180 degrees C, but probably also adjusting as I saw fit.
