great idea, thanks! i'm going to try out the lights by themselves first since all the covers i can find on amazon are about four times what i paid for the lights, but i am a sucker for diffusion so i may just have to pull that trigger too. thanks for the tip, anon!

actually, i don't- i am pretty sensitive about light, and i really dislike the overhead light in my kitchen. it's a bright fluorescent white, and i much prefer a warm 3000K light- so i always only turn on that ball. very excited for the strips though!
