My hometowns main dish is a contender - horseshoe - two pieces of toast, two hamburger patties (or other protein of your choice), mound of french fries, then all smothered in a rarebit style cheese sauce. There is a breakfast one two, with biscuits or toast, breakfast meat of your choice, hash browns or American fries, and either sausage gravy or cheese sauce or both. The local paper did an article on the horseshoe and said the average one comes out to 3,000 calories.
