I recently acquired the duty of purchasing cat food for my cat from my sister, and he's had urinary issues in the past. He's been eating Hill's c/d Prescription Diet Urinary hard food. I recently looked at the ingredients as I was getting familiar with what was in it and HOLY FUCK is this some low quality shit. Corn is the third ingredient? Get the fuck out of here I'm not paying $40 for that shit.
What actually high quality food do you give to your cats long term, /ck/? ESPECIALLY those with urinary issues.

i was mostly vegetarian growing up, only having meat on a couple of occasions but I never liked it or ate it at all until I was 21 and started eating it consistently. I do notice a change in how I feel, testosterone being the main thing and I'd say I probably look better overall just because I was a skeleton growing up. Recently though Ive been hearing more and more about how awful meat is in general for you and how we all should be plant based and there's absolutely no reason to eat animal products.
I just don't know if I agree, meat tastes good and from personal experience I feel stronger from it. Ethically it's hard to argue though. And my first instinct was to not eat meat, so I don't know what to do, I just try to balance it out as much as possible and not lean too far in one direction. I don't know what's right tho

Is there some kind of (instant) yeast to fermentation formula? I've made bread before with 0.5% instant yeast and letting is fermentate for 14 hours or so. Not sure if this is the optimal way to do it.
