8 Corner pizza is basically two small pizzas cut into bigger slices, so each one is a "corner slice", it's basically for people who really like the edge pieces

As for the quality, I think the price is justified if you're in the mood for a better pizza, the sauce is more flavorful than the usual bland sauce most chains have and the cheese seems definitely higher quality to me, it actually is all gooey and melty like when you see pizzas in movies when it's hot.
