>eating healthy and losing weight means I need to give up delicious food

When will this assumption stop? You can eat good food that’s healthy and help you lose weight.

Pic related. Certain foods like avocado are full of nutrients and have a good amount of fat that’s satiating. Salmon is healthy and satiating. Peanut butter is high in fat, but after a couple of scoops, you’re good for hours.

A lot of people have this mindset that to lose weight they need to avoid fatty foods. Fat is what satiates you and controls hunger. I always drink whole milk over 2% or skim milk, and I have peanut butter on whole grain toast or in my oatmeal for breakfast. It holds me over for hours.

I’ve seen people who try to lose weight buy everything low fat or low-calorie and I see them eating snacks every couple of hours, and it’s full of sugar. My mom included.

The problem isn’t fat in foods, the problem is sugar. Eating shit high in sugar can cause a blood sugar crash and trigger hunger.

Do your research as to what goods are satiating and don’t fuck up your blood sugar.
