I don't understand why this has to keep being explained. In the United States fast food is garbage bottom of the barrel slop because they don't have to compete with any one because America has no street food culture. In foreign markets fast food has to compete with local street vendors that have been their since Christ was a cowboy and there's no possible way Multinational Fast Food Brand will ever be able to compete with Javier Jose Rodriguez Gonzalez the 3rd selling mystery meat and rice on the street corner for 50 cents per plate so the fast food places upsell themselves as sit-down family restaurants instead. American fastfood is always going to be bottom tier garbage because by design it's the bottom rung of the American dining experience.
