I figured out why the coffee from my parents cuisinart k*rig doesn't taste like ass. The k-cup basket is a little bigger and longer than normal. Also apparently my dad has an old Mr. Coffee espresso machine that has the frother wand. Might look into it for chuckles.

A lot a people don't like cold brew compared to iced coffee because the brew doesn't extract the "sour" or acid from the coffee, thus not always being full flavor. Cold brew is great if you need to use up stale beans or if your brewing low acid coffee and prefer more robust notes.
