Never tried it, but when I lived in TN for a year for some work I asked around and was told the Evan Williams black label bourbon was respectable and tried it out, it was good that followed advice from those who lived there longer than I had. It's good and inexpensive.

A lot better than the green label one for like a dollar more.

I was in Tennessee for some work and asked what a decent bourbon was and I was told, Evan Williams is respectable. It is, it's not bad for what it is and it mixes nicely.

Black Label Evan Williams is a "respectable" inexpensive bourbon. It's not the best but you could do a lot worse.
