Lol life expectancy is pretty high but that of course has a lot of variables. The biggest problem is the American diet is largely carbohydrate based and the story behind that is long and complicated but it basically has to do with bribery of a government agency which mislead people to believe that a largely grain baste diet was the healthiest choice. This leads to a lot of obesity from the excess carbohydrate being converted into sugar and then fat. We are just now starting to correct this and people are starting to demand higher quality foods. Still it will take a generation or more for real change to happen.
