we call this laplap in Vanuatu. it's usually a root crop like yam or cassava or banana made into a paste with coconut milk then wrapped in leaves before being put in a earth oven with hot stones.

finally fill the center with coconut milk to dip your pieces of laplap in to sweeten it.
