What was your food experience like? Did you stay with friends or family, and if so did they cook for you? How was it? How about restaurants? I'd like to hear about what you guys thought of our culinary landscape.

Well, it didnt take much to sell me on it. I'm gonna grab the GL oyster stout at some point this week. I adore stouts that lean towards the savory side of things.

>Also of note: if you like any stout/porter outside of pastry bombs you will probably dig it.
My current favorite stout is Evil Twin's EMJ, if that says anything about my garbage taste.
Dont get me wrong, dessert stouts have their place, but that's the kind of beer you just have to be in the mood for.

Sadly I dont live in GR. I'm smack in the middle of Asheville NC, which still puts me in a very good position for some fantastic beers on a whim.
