literally an overload of carbs for most modern Murricans. At one time it would have been healthy, but with all the other sugars/carbs people have been ingesting over the years this meal aint helping. Not saying portion control, healthy diet, and exercise are not the answer tho.

I recently acquired about 6lbs of kimchi. So I've been making a ton of jjigae.

.Fry sliced pork belly till it's crispy. I usually marinade it with ginger, and hot pepper paste overnight. optional.

Chop some kimchi to your liking and add it to the pan. Then deglaze with chicken stock. Also add soy sauce (for soup) or regular soy if you don't have it. add the pork, and let simmer for at least 30 min. Cube up some tofu, and add it to the pan .

Serve with rice. Drop a pat of butter on your soup while serving, adds a whole new dimension. green onions to garninsh
