This is a retarded poster. Obviously they have pain responses. Think about why any animal has pain responses and why they have all the emotions they do. All the self-preserving instincts of fear, all reproductive instincts leading to romantic interest in partners and unconditional love of offspring all have the same evolutionary benefits for animals that they do for humans. You really think that human emotion, for all its extraordinary depth and nuance developed suddenly in a random ape mammal? Animals clearly have very developed emotions and pain responses until you get to things like cnidaria and sea sponges where they're primitive enough for things to get ambiguous - but the claim that something like a lobster can't feel pain is some subhuman-tier mental gymnastics.
