The average kitkat eater in America would fucking hate matcha KitKats. They would take one bite and think it is bitter or gross.
Sure they'd be popular with young hip tea fucks, but they almost certainly would not sell well.
t. Japanese kitkat eater

Various kitkat. Wasabi, strawberry tiramisu, and the bigass coffee one were my faves. I got these together to give to a friend visiting from overseas, and then lost the bag like a jackass.

You're so fucking wrong, and you don't even know how many flavors of "green tea matcha" kitkat there are.
Hokkaido melon and mascarpone cheese is best, followed closely by Shizuoka wasabi.

I've been living in Japan for the past 5 years. Peanut Butter isn't so popular and is almost impossible to find in candy, but one of the women I work with loves Reese's. Sometimes you can find them in areas that have US military bases.
So after holidays I get my family in the US to send clearanced Reese's stuff. It's fun to see my coworker flip out over whatever is new that year.
