here's how i use a cast iron
>put oil on
>cook things
>if it's pretty clean i just leave it
>if it's got stuff burned on it i was it with dish soap and water, then take it out, dry it, and rub olive oil on it with a paper towel

I've worked at a cashier before, and having people come by with half-eaten bags was a regular occurrence. Especially with young kids.
I've absolutely never given a fuck.

It takes absolutely no effort on my part. I had a hand-held scanner. All I have to do is hold it up to whatever you're eating. I don't even have to touch it. It's that fucking simple.
No clue why anyone thought I gave a shit, or why anyone thinks this is a big deal.
