There might be a tasty place here and there in other areas but you can get 5/5 carne asada burritos on every street corner in San Diego. It's an actual phenomenon for some reason. It's not even close anywhere else, by far. I mean we are talking major differences in quality between the most mediocre taco shops in San Diego and the best anywhere else in California.

I agree with everything this poster said except that the best they can do in Texas is copy San Diego, brag about shitty "tex mex" casseroles, and something about fajitas (which are not hard to make).
