I just went to Chicago for the first time and had some deep dish pizza.
Like many of you, I used to follow the meme that it wasn't a real pizza.... How foolish I was.
This glorious setting of sauce, cheese and toppings was so fucking good that I will never bad mouth deep dish again.
I am now of the opinion that anyone who bashes it just hasn't had it.
All Hail Glorious deep dish pizza race.

I'm making a Chicago deep dish 'za for my uncle as a cake for his 50th birthday, what are some good fillings for it? I never made this kind before, but it seems like it will fall apart as soon as I cut it.

Disgusting, just mostly cheese & tomato with a tiny bit of dough crust. Horrifically unbalanced. Only fat people would try to justify this being a good food.
