Pic related was a story from a few years ago. Here's another.
>move for new job
>forgot to stock up on coking utensils
>have only a pot and a pan
>one day decided to make chicken curry
>make chicken in the pan and curry in the pot, everything is fine and dandy
>realize that I needed to use the pot to make the rice too
>have a bright idea where I cook the rice in the same curry pot
>thought that it's gonna take a while since that has been the case when I cook rice in the pot before
>dump rice into curry, turn heat on high and leave for a smoke (or two) (or half the pack)
>come back to the entire house full of smoke
>flatmate is asleep and could've died from CO poisoning and I would've been arrested for manslaughter
>what's worse, a crust of charcoal formed on the inside of the pot and the entire curry is ruined
>the unburnt portion also smelled like charcoal
>forced myself to eat the entire thing for the next week in order to repent for my sins
