What is your best taco seasoning recipe?
Normally I just use seasoning packets but I don't have any and don't feel like going to the store. I do however have a bunch of spices I can use (cumin, paprika, cayenne, garlic/onion powder, salt, pepper). I'm just not sure how I should proportion them or which ones I should avoid.
How do you like to mix your taco seasoning spices?

I'm trying to make a seasoning for these and they ususally list garlic powder onion powder cumin oregano paprika and a few others, but the biggest ingredient is chili powder. But when I look at the recipe for chili powder, It lists the same combination of seasoning that get listed above.

So what is point of listing chili powder as an ingredient?

How the fuck are your supposed to eat these things? They always fall apart on me and become more of a salad.
