my number one thing that pisses me off is when i order a basic burger for like 8/9 dollars and it is well done/burnt

also "fancy" resuruants that can't even cook a steak to the correct donness

that shit might fly at the local diner but if i'm paying premium prices i expect food that taste good not just looks good.

anymore i just go the mom and pop stores bucuase they actually give a shit and don't hire college kids as line cooks

The flavour you were looking for are the processed overly sweet flavours that boil down to sugar and food colouring.

I'm being completely flat with you, I totally agree this beer was probably shit, but you should try and develop your palate a bit by trying things that are outside your comfort zone more often.

Recently I made pretty good friends with a wholesale butcher, who is getting me some of the greatest deals ever. 20 360gram chicken breasts for £20 is just incredible. However I'm pretty shit when it comes to cooking and basically just make curry with them.

So with the new incredible value for what I can get I thought I'd decide to learn to make new dishes, etc. However I have no idea what other meat/cuts/types to get. I want to make a steak but have no idea which cuts to get. As it's a wholesale membership place that he gets his discount (probably steals) from I can't look at things to buy them. What should I try and ask for? Nothing too exotic, mostly pig/cow/chicken/lamb.

tl;dr I'm friends with a butcher what meat should I get for next to free?
