Elizabeth Báthory - a famous cook who first invented the "chicago" deep dish pizza. Ironically enough, the "chicago" deep dish pizza didn't originate in chicago! Elizabeth Báthory led her cooking empire from the aptly named kingdom of Hungary! Her 'zas were said to cure ailments with her special selection of toppings and top secret thickness measurement. It was only after Elizabeth Báthory expanded her restaurant business to the United States that the deep dish earned its new name, the "Chicago" deep dish!
