I've been reading about foods that Americans eat that people from other countries find distasteful, and I wonder about the veracity of some of the claims, and generally what people really eat and dont eat in different places. here is a list of foods that I can confirm are eaten regularly by many Americans but are claimed to be thought disgusting in other parts of the world:

Chili cheese dogs
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Pumpkin pie
Spam
Red velvet cake
Biscuits and gravy
Bacon and eggs
Grits
Mayonaise
Corn Dogs
Bologna
Smores
Ranch dressing

Now please, what are your thoughts on this? If you are not from the U.S. how do you feel about any of these foods? Are there disgusting foods that you have heard that Americans eat frequently that aren't on the list? Oh and if you reply please state the country you are from.
