Is New York really the best place for pizza in the USA? I'm visiting next May.

I'm from asia, I know nothing about american pizzas.

Italians invented it, Americans perfected it.

Why is new york style pizza it's own thing? Isn't it just regular ass pizza?

There is literally nothing special about New York pizza. Literally the most mediocre form of pizza there is, yeah it's perfectly fine but certainly nothing to boast about.

Maybe it is if you lived in New York your entire life and then go to buttfuck nowhere with a single pizza chain that makes awful pizza, but even then New York pizza is a minor step up. Fucking New Yorkers are so boastfully egotistical.

I live in NYC and I eat pizza almost every day.
I enjoy the unusual flavors some of the pizzerias come up with. I also just enjoy a plain cheese slice covered with oregano and red pepper.

Pizza. It's not so much of a problem at the time when I get it - I'll usually eat 2 slices, 3 max if that's the whole meal, and be good after that. But if any is left over, I can't help but eat it cold right out of the fridge over the night/throughout the next day.

How much money do you need to start your own pizzeria?
