Would putting loose tea into a moka pot and brewing it be a good idea? It seems like it would brew some strong tea but idk.

So an Italian told me in another thread that the secret to good coffee is to never wash your coffee maker with soap water. Is this true or was he just fooling around with me, please halp.

Pretty much as close to as close as you can get to espresso without the $500 machine

Morning /ck/
I'm thinking of getting one of these.
I was wondering how powerful the coffee is
Is the coffee that comes out of it as strong as regular espresso?
Or is it kinda of in between an espresso and regular brewed coffee?

I recently bought a moka pot, and my friend made fun of me saying that espresso was a girl's drink.

It's just super-strong black coffee, how could that in any way be construed as girly?

Also, moka pot thread

Hi /ck/, I come to you in search of help

I have a moka pot (pic related). I fill it up with water, put the coffee where it belongs, warm it up.... and no matter how long I wait, only a bit of hot coffee comes out.

If I put 500ml of water in the pot, I only get about 150ml of coffee at the end of the process. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? This is really bugging me
