Hey /ck/. I'll freely admit I don't know a goddamned thing about cooking and have pretty much never read a thing on this board before today. But I need some help.

I was pretty much raised on fast food, junk food, and other cheap shit that is generally very unhealthy for me. I've been lucky enough to not become overweight, but I certainly don't feel healthy. I've been looking to get more /fit/ and needed some help with my diet, and thought asking here would be better than asking on /fit/.

Basically, what I need to know is what are some things I can eat that are healthy (or at the very least won't slowly kill me) for me but affordable on a low budget? I understand this is a very broad question, but literally any help, advice, or tip is appreciated.

So /ck/, I will go back south after 4 weeks in a inuit village. I mostly ate Steaks, Mac and Cheese and Hambergers.
