Hey anon, I think I've gotten that Calvados recommendation from you before, maybe even in one of these fine Hennessey threads. Unfortunately the Camut stuff seems hard to get a hold of unless you're in Cali or Europe. I have not tried the other two. Very curious what Cognac that's aged 50-75 years is like, have you had them? One of the reviews for Tesseron 29 on cognac-expert said something to the effect of it almost reverting back to wine at that point.


I didn't want to open the Groult 18, so this ended up being the first Calvados I tried! I'm sure it's far from the best, but not bad at all for $30. I keep pouring more...

That Pierre Ferrand is very nice from what I remember.
Out Total had the Hennessey Master Blend No4, but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger.
