it is actually distilled water, it doesn't have minerals and it's perfectly safe to drink. I've been drinking distilled water for absolute years and this meme about distilled water leaching minerals from your body and killing you is absolute nonsense. the distilled water is good for ice machines because minerals and flouride etc build up in the machine and it results in malfunctions and weird odours
