Anyone order and receive any of FL's 2024 mao chas yet? I'm curious about this year's lineup.

Also, when do they typically post the new spring cakes?

I'm relatively novice when it comes to sheng puehr. Most of my experience is from cheap xiaguan and YS samples. It's time to go bigger. Have ~$120 usd to invest into 1-2 cakes + samples.

Do I go with Farmerleaf, Bitterleaf, or Yunnan Sourcing? Leaning towards FL, loving their mindset and approach. BUT, I've also really enjoyed the YS samples I've had over the years. BL seems a bit meme, but could be interesting. Any thoughts?

is anyone else here /retardmaxxing/?

I brew my cofe like the Swiss, in an espresso machine, with a coarser grind and weak tamper for roughly 7oz of extraction. Then I add about 5oz steamed milk
its really goofy but unless I have guests over its all I drink

>Asked to over to my uncles
>He just got a new espresso machine, needs help pulling shots
>Haven't done volumetrics on a bar since I left coffee 18 months ago, but it's a chance to see his new setup
>Delonghi specialista prestigio(?)
>Few annoying bits. Only 8 steps on the grinder, have to turn off the bar so I can redistribute before tamping
> it retails at €700-€900 depending on where and when you get it
>Better stuff at that price point, but looks nice for all the plastic I suppose
>Asks if I want one
>"I'm good, €700-€900 is a bit much for me and it right now considering what else is available"
>"Anon, I know the distributer, I can get you one for €250"
>mfw
Every deficiency it has compared to stuff by Sage, Gaggia etc is immediately brushed aside at that price. I told him to grab me one, I'll just use my commandante to grind for espresso. Just hope the dosing jar fits the 51mm portafilter...

Black coffee or tea. It's also my breakfast. I am a fat fuck trying to lose wait and it allows me to skip breakfast without starving.

Well diabetes is a metabolic disease where your body becomes increasingly resistant to insulin, which is due to increasingly higher spikes in blood sugar
If you dont eat carbohydrates your blood sugar doesnt spike as the only glucose in your blood is produced by your liver, and your liver only produces what your body(brain) needs
Low carbohydrate diet is quite a popular alternative treatment to diabetes because of this reason
Weight really has nothing to do with it outside of the fact that people who are fact often consume a lot of carbohydrates, sugars especially. It's hard to develop diabetes without being overweight as excess carbohydrates make you fat easier than fat itself but if you are fat despite consuming very little carbohydrates then you have no risk in developing diabetes
