Very. I hated Gordon Ramsey and his insane cooking shows growing up. I avoided cooking and relied on others to do it for me. I became a man when I watched Marco Pierre White criticize a young Gordon on how to make dumplings. Marco simply told him what he was doing wrong and Gordon shivered on camera and made a barely audible “yes, chef” to confirm he understood his place in the world. This inspired me to go into my college kitchen and start cooking. I still cook to this day, and thanks to Marco I learned new ways at getting nay sayers to cry. Cooking gets you bitches, it gets you out of the house hustling for good ingredients, most people know not to fuck with you or you’ll fuck with their food. You quickly see who’s grateful and who’s not. Cooking is good. Marco is good.
