I usually buy the whole loaf then just toss it in the trash when I get home, is basically what you are saying to me when you speak of throwing away the ends of bread because I believe in scale of morality, so for example, a man taking orders at a coffee shop is no different than a man taking orders from Hitler so when they say dumb things to me like "they have to call it a steeped tea even though all tea is steeped" I see right through their weak willed justifications.

i've been selling bread lately but the problem I've noticed is that in our peninsula we are only allowed to stock 20% of the shelves between all indie bakeries but one company gets 80% of store shelves. But I thought about it more and realized that we barely manage to make enough loaves to fill our meagre shelf allotment as it is, but our loaves fly off the shelf as soon as I put them down because people wait for me to come to the grocery store to get their new loaves like I am delivering mi goring noodles. Perhaps if we expanded we could get more customers and become the 80% distributor...

anyway i have a new appreciation for local foods when I see how cutthroat the food shelf business is. Anyone else a foodman?
