How did a poorly tolerated medicinal dietary regimen for intractable childhood epilepsy largely made obsolete by anticonvulsant drugs 70 years ago turn into a fad diet everyone here is apparently eating? Why do fat people feel the need to try every possible alternative in existence instead of abiding by the blatantly obvious solution of eating fewer calories?
