Farmers' markets. Mushrooms are super expensive.

Actually, a lot are grown on manure. I wonder how vegan that makes it.

How does /ck/ deal with being vegan and finding a mate?

Fact is, guys generally like meat. Sure, vegan cuisine is interesting and challenging, and animal rights, factory farming, etc. but the fact is that I started being vegetarian because I was broke, not because I cared. To be honest, I still don't really care, but it's something to do and something to talk about; it occupies my time and it's generally positive and constructive.

I also don't really miss handling raw meat.

I did manage to find one guy who was occasionally vegetarian, but my boyfriends before all ate meat; Daniel, in particular, shared my carnivorous tendencies. Vegan guys are rare, though, vegetarians ones too, except if you're into neo hipsters and hippies, which I'm not.

So, how do you deal with being vegan and finding a partner? Carnivores and omnivores, do you find vegans and vegetarians attractive?
