I can't say what the best is, but my favorite in Manhattan is PQR. Pizza often tastes greasy or oily, but PQR has more of an "oven baked" feeling to it. The sauce isn't runny, the cheese doesn't slide off, it's just a solid slice. I strongly recommend the Diavola or the Burratta slice

As for Brooklyn, I like Carmine's on Graham St in East Williamsburg. Those are just my favorites.
I'd probably take someone to Scarr's if they were a tourist though, best atmosphere
