Maybe not, but Macaroni Cheese is an institution here in Britbongistan.

Simple; elbow macaroni pasta, boiled until it achieves the firmness required (I like to add something to the water besides salt to give the pasta a little extra flavour, like some garlic granules or onion powder; whatever you got really)

Make a roux, add strong cheddar cheese, season to taste - salt and ground black pepper for me, sometimes i'll add a little extra flavour with spices. Might consider adding a dash of cayenne and see how my roommate reacts. I like to get the sauce nice and thick. We're talking greek yogurt consistency here.

Drain pasta, add to sauce, mix well.

Optionally, you can add a thick later of cheese on top in a casserole dish and melt that on top in the oven. Mix your cheeses here, is - go for a creamier cheese in the sauce, and then a sharp cheese on top.

As that one guy said, it's even better the next day. Make sure you cover the leftovers to keep the moisture in. Add a little milk or butter, stir it to loosen it up a bit, and throw it in the microwave.

Sometimes I like to make pic related for a quick and easy meal. Pasta takes under 10 minutes, once the pasta's ready just drain it, put it back in the pot, add cream cheese and stor to let it melt a bit. then add a little milk and dump the whole damn packet of "cheese" powder in there. get some grated cheese mixed in and you have something that will feed either 2-3 normal adults or 1 fatass.

sometimes i make two at once
