I live in Michigan.
A typical week's menu for me is:
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable
Baked chicken, rice and cream of mushroom soup
Chili with hamburger and chicken
Spaghetti
Pierogi (potato and cheese) with steak and vegetable soup
Sausages with potatoes
A quick dish like chicken strips or beer batter pollack

I live in the Detroit area with a sizable Polish population with a fine reputation of making great food. I love getting fresh pierogi from Hamtramck and pączki every Feb / Mar.
