Pic related. Could crack open my Glenfiddich 12 but it felt like a beer night.

Whiskey? I agree with anyone suggesting the Old Fashioned or Whiskey Sour. If you can't handle that, maybe Whiskey and Cola, but I would splurge and get "real" cola; something flavored with kola nut. The extra bite really adds to it.

For the vodka, just add it to things you already like. Best way to do it.
