I really like Ethan, sometimes he covers some esoteric stuff and he does get very in-depth with some niche topics but he never comes off as pretentious. I've used his recipes before and he seems like a nice guy.

>emphasizes the "authentic" way to cook something
>spends more than a few seconds giving history on the dish
>calls the dish by it's foreign name and attempts to pronounce it correctly with an accent
>half the video is spent jerking off over pointless steps that do nothing but overcomplicate a simple recipe, like mixing and rolling fresh noodles just to make spaghetti
>obnoxiously long eating segment where all you can hear is chewing and the occasional performative moan of enjoyment
>tells you to go to "your local butcher" to get any cut of meat as if he didn't just buy it from the cooler section of the grocery store
If you do any of this shit I'm smashing that dislike button and turning the video off immediately. Just cook the fucking food.

I hate this guy with a burning passion and I can't figure out why, he makes incredibly useful videos and is very thorough without dipping into that LE EPIC FAGGOT shit that Weissman does.
