My garbage disposal.

I volunteer at a food bank. I pick up that sort of stuff from the back of a grocery store all the time. Expensive stuff that people in the area cant afford expires and gets donated. 30/70 Organic-Regular stuff.
Sometimes we struggle to get enough. Sometimes we have all 6 of our chest freezers overflowing.
They let people self pick with social distancing rules. Still leaves tons of bread and veggeis left over that either gets picked over by the volunteers at the end or get fed to pigs. I usually grab stuff to feed to my chickens as well.

I have dozens and dozen of them for canning. I use them out of laziness or if Im making something hot I that I need a cover for.

Four big bags in my freezer
duck
turkey
chicken
veggies
I use them all the time. Great for beans.

I can tell the difference from a summer time free ranging egg from my chickens compared to the store. But in the winter when theyre eating feed, scraps, cake. i cant tell much difference.

Im starting a small acre(10) permaculturally farm over the next to years. Ill be plants lots of trees and bushes next year but this years Im turning some old pasture into beds. Very exciting.

Soak some dried apples and add those in. Maybe apple butter? Thats way to much sugar. Your well into diminishing returns in sweetness there.
