I never use it for potatoes either, just to finely chop up ground meats and sausages for tacos, breakfast burritos, stuffed mushrooms, etc. Used it this morning with a couple of breakfast sausage patties that I wanted crumbled up for my omelet. Way more efficient than using a spatula.
