Another thing that helped me a lot was a heavy focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods. I make a lot of different dishes and a lot of comfort foods. It is easy to make nutrient dense and high caloric value dishes. This is what will replace the garbage you are putting into your digestive system. Speaking of, get some probiotics.

I started simple. Hard boil eggs, cut up a raw tomato, and some avocado. Plate and season - simple and I love all of them with salt and pepper. Just making simple whole food plates adjusted my tastes dramatically. I still make bacon, egg, and cheddar bagels too. Because I can.

No because I learned how to make chicken a billion ways when getting /fit/. Once you learn how to clean up your diet you learn how to cook better foods and how to balance tasty with healthy.

Stop trying so hard and just cut out the refined garbage. Once you've eliminated all that factory shit you'll find it disgusting. Fine tune your diet after you've done that and if you really want to get into micronutrients do it then.

The hardest part was learning or re-learning what I liked to eat. It took a minute to click that I can sauté spinach but I can also sauté it in garlic butter and be healthier for it. Or that I can add unsweetened coconut milk to a chocolate whey shake with peanut butter one day and then whole milk and blackberries the next, depending on /fit/ goals and what I need.

I'm drinking fucking chocolate shakes all the time. Sometimes I add real ice cream. You can do that if you are taking care of yourself. It is when you are not taking care of yourself that the bad habits, vices, and lethargy stack up.

tl;dr clear out your pantry and buy healthy but delicious foods, and exercise it off.

The most important part of weight loss is the /fit/ness program you are on. The most important part of your /fit/ness program is your daily diet. You can modify both on the fly and achieve results for different goals. You have to learn the basic of nutrition and exercise. Once you do this the weight loss is permanent. If you do not do this the weight loss is temporary.

Easiest way to start is to cut out processed foods and move to whole protein and veg. Carbs are not as critical as getting an increase in plant fiber and nutrients to go with a big hunk of animal protein every day.

Learn to make "clean" foods from /fit/. By itself with a reduction in daily calories this would lead to weight loss and a slight amount of leaning up. With exercise of some type the weight loss will increase dramatically. If you want to avoid muscular look because troon or some shit, run. If you want to look good to 99.985% of the population do calisthenics and resistance training (bodyweight or iron).

Good luck chubanon. Very simply: clean out your pantry, clean up your diet with whole foods, and start at least a brisk walk a day.

Break down your shopping into protein (pb, eggs, meats, fish), carbs (pasta, bread, flour), veg, herbs/spices, and grocery (soap etc). Then bookmark the ad pages of every store within range. Every week pop open the ads and see what the sales are. Over time you will get a sense of the real price of foods and what is a deal to spend on.

Some tips:

>Buy in bulk at the lowest price then shop for smaller amounts as you go
>find the discount aisles in each store you visit, they all have at least one area
>Immigrant markets are your FRIEND. Find where they are and get their ads.
>You can buy some food and toiletries online cheaper, and at higher quality (e.g., bulk bags of good rice, paper, etc)
>If you have the room freeze your on-sale protein and get your veg fresh
>Potatoes, onions, and carrots sell dirt cheap in bulk bags. Learn to cook with these.
>Rice is a staple and there are a thousand ways to eat it
>Learn recipes that stretch out proteins with vegetables, rice, and pastas
>search for deals on herbs and spices like a thirsty simp and over a long period of time you will build a formidable spice collection
>Buddy up with the deli and butcher personnel and they will hook you up

I learned to cook foods I loved in 2-3 day batches. I also cook a lot of Italian recipes which are 2-3 day batches but last one evening. Lots of really great sloppa and I focus on the recipes, getting good ingredients, and making better food than I can get delivered/take out. Then I'll keep a little variety of bachelor chow from the frozen/canned sections around the freezer/pantry. I buy the better more expensive product because a $4 can of a good soup with a few slices of the "artisanal" loaf from the bakery is better than $30 for delivery.

When I'm wiped out from work I'll go ahead and get take out. It balances out. Also just keeping staples around helps. I have fresh tomatoes, a brown and a white onion, bell peppers, rice, avocado, cheddar, eggs, cilantro, and some good rye bread. I have no idea what I'm doing with any of them but I'll use them up this week for sure. Then I have some tuna and canned chicken, some deenz, stuff like that for /fit/ days when I need broteins right now because starving. Last I keep some boxed rice and quinoa around so if I'm busy I can just make a quick on pan dish that's healthy.
