Cholula is not very good. Gringo Bandito is much better if you're looking for that kinda taco-sauce style hot sauce.

I remember this stuff tasted kind of weird but I liked it


Also I remember back in highschool I had a teachers aid who was an ex drummer for a punk rock band called hit the switch, and the owner of their label was also the creator of gringo bandito hot sauce. Towards the end of their run the recording studio was filled with boxes of the sauce.

This is like Cholula/Tapatío except it actually tastes good.

Not too much more expensive either.

Well yeah it's not hard to be better than something that tastes like a dirty frozen burrito. But Tapatío is not much better.

If you want a sauce in that style that's actually good, get some of this.

Saw this rec'd on /ck/ a few times but I was reluctant to try it because I hate the name and the packaging.

But boy am I glad I did.

It's in the same vein as Cholula or Tapatío (except actually good), that is to say it's not very hot but it packs a ton of flavor.

I'm definitely gonna keep this on hand for anything that needs that Tex-Mexy kick.
