the fact that one is a vowel and the other a consonant can't be relevant, they look so alike and must, therefore, be interchangeable and also suggest an easy method for transforming symbols from one system to the other.

I suggest you fertilize those eggs before scrambling them. They have much better texture and they hold up to the rigours of Ramsey's 'stir till you die' method.
