>tasteless
I've seen people complain about it being bitter or tasting 'like dirt', but never about it lacking flavor. Either you're buying shit kale or your taste buds are fried.

>tough as shit
Are you eating the lower stems or something? Maybe buying those bags of pre-cut, old kale? Trying to eat mature kale raw in a salad, rather than baby kale? It's should be no tougher than other hardy greens when prepared properly.

>No healthier than any other leafy green
Yeah the people who act like it's a 'superfood' that cures cancer are retards. It is very nutrient dense, but there's probably no reason to choose it over other greens on any health basis.

>toxic in high amounts
I guess you're referring to the goitrogens? The same thing can be said for just about any food. Oxalate in spinach, phytic acid in nuts, etc. It's irrelevant for like 99.99999% of people living in the developed world, despite all the 'health gurus' and fad dieters who obsess over antinutrients. If you don't have thyroid issues and don't do retarded fad diet shit like eating pounds of raw kale every day, there's zero reason to give it any thought.
